Thanks to its abrasion resistance (80 000 Martindale) , this velvet fabric is ideal for a wide range of projects, offering both durability and luxury. It is resistant to wear and able to retain its colour and texture well even with intensive use.

Velvet fabric is easy to care for – it can be washed and dry cleaned, and it is also suitable for ironing and tumble drying.
Velvet is a versatile material that can be used for both interior textiles and sewing clothing and accessories.
 Here are some ideas for what you can sew from this luxurious fabric:

  • Jackets: You can sew elegant jackets or coats from velvet
  • Upholstery: Velvet is an excellent choice for chairs, sofas, and other furniture where a durable and elegant material is needed. It will give any room a sophisticated look.
