Cotton loopback knit (French Terry) is a soft, comfortable, and slightly stretchy fabric with elastane content.

In one side, the fabric is smooth, while the other side has a small looped texture that adds extra comfort and warmth.

This fabric is ideal for sportswear, loungewear, hats, sweaters, pants, and children's clothing.

Loopback knit is breathable and allows natural air circulation, making it a great choice for both cooler and warmer days. A practical and durable fabric with enough stretch for comfortable everyday wear.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very elastic, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretch fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, allowing them to slide easily between knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually 70/10 or 80/12.
